Loremify App Reviews

Really one of the best app for a webdesigner workflow, but unfortunelty, sometimes the panel doesn’t appear. I hope a fix soon ;) Thanks to the developer for his work

Loremify is very modern-feeling, and has a nice polished look. It is, however, of limited use to me due to it’s 120 character limit. It’s my fault for not being specific enough in my search, but if, like me, you’re looking for a lorem *generator*, you may be better served looking elsewhere. The available formatting is very convinent, and, again, the presentation is excellent.

Very simple and easy to use. Great to grab Lorem text with this app! Will be using it as my main Lorem generator from now!

I never imagined that copying placeholder text could be so fulfilling. Welldone!

I have used a range of placeholder text generators over the years. More recently, I have been using LittleIpsum - a similar tool that sits in your menubar and allows you to copy a varying amounts of placeholder ‘lorem’ text. That being said, I think that this one is the most pleasing to use. The options to copy as plaintext, html, and markdown are great features and the simple mouse drag feels intuitive and precise. I would like to see more options for perhaps usign other generators (come on, who doesn’t want bacon ipsum in their menu bar?), and maybe the option to randomize which words the copy starts with. Having ‘Lorem ipsum’ repeated in multiple places in pages and documents kind of stands out, in my opinion. But these are hardly negative aspects of this software. It’s great. And free. Give it a shot!

Good, but really needs a randomization option. Starting with Lorem ipsum for every piece of text doesn’t work. Also, need a way to quit the app. I have to force quit via activity monitor...
